Vernon Gramling


Vernon Gramling is husband of Betheda, father of five, and grandfather to seven. He was educated at University of Maryland and Princeton Seminary and ordained as a Presbyterian pastor in 1971. He served as Assistant Minister for 3 years, then as a chaplain at Grady where he helped to start and then administer one of the first hospices in the country. He has maintained a pastoral counseling practice since 1985. He is now honorably retired but still practicing. He has been involved at Decatur Presbyterian Church since 1998. He sings with the Chancel Choir, runs a weekly grief group, teaches regularly and writes a weekly blog entitled “Faith in Real Life”.
