Terri Williams

Terri Williams passionately believes that “Government of the people, for the people, by the people” is one of the most important phrases ever uttered in human history. She strongly promotes the importance of shared power, critical thinking, civil society and civic engagement.  She is a fierce advocate for solving all problems and challenges through citizen empowerment and participatory democracy.  She promotes this as the only way we can positively and sustainably transform our communities, our businesses, and our local, state, and national government.

Terri Williams walks her talk. She served as the Mayor of Webster Groves, Missouri and after her term in office, she was the Executive Director of the Webster Groves/Shrewsbury Area Chamber of Commerce for four years.  She was then appointed “Citizens Advocate” for St. Louis County government, and subsequently, the Taxpayers Advocate.

Terri is also an expert in leadership development, emotional intelligence, customer service, and communication.  She has worked as a CultureEX™ consultant and trainer with my company, Lifework Systems where she has helped “create leaders people want to follow”.

Utilizing her expertise in writing, editing, and public speaking, she founded MOONSTONE MEANINGFUL MARRIAGE CEREMONIES where she has the honor and privilege of officiating highly memorable and meaningful weddings for the past 10 years.

Terri has a Bachelors’ degree in Philosophy, and a Masters’ degree in International Relations – both from Webster University and she was honored to receive the Webster U “Distinguished Alumni Award”.

One of my favorite things about Terri Williams is her PURPOSE which is to cause inspiration, transformation and laughter.
