Andy Prince
Andy Prince was born and raised in Puerto Rico. After graduating high school, he attended St. Edward’s University in the US and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in English and a minor in Theology (He was going to be a priest). His time at St. Edward’s fueled his interest and desire for social justice. He worked for an organization called Pax Christi (a nonprofit that was part of the Catholic Church) which was like an Amnesty International with a Catholic faith base. This experience helped him become very aware of the many injustices in the world.
Andy found his passion for telling stories at Pax Christi, which led him to a career in communications. He has worked on clean energy issues with Green Mountain Energy Company, the Alliance for Retail Markets, and Porter Novelli. Later in his career, he crafted, built, and executed highly successful strategic communications programs for mission driven organizations.
Andy currently provides consulting services to companies of all sizes looking to build human-based communications initiatives for both internal and external audiences. Additionally, he writes a weekly newsletter on being ok with being human – and writes regularly on the topic of humanity. About two years ago, Andy and his wife moved to Bismarck, ND from Austin, TX to be closer to her family as her parents age. They have four dogs and one cat.
